Controversial Kick streamer Ragnesh “N3on” recently addressed his Twitch ban following accusations of misgendering another streamer during TwitchCon 2024 in San Diego. The incident occurred on September 21, 2024, when Twitch streamer Vightingale accused N3on of misgendering them at the convention. This marked the 20-year-old content creator’s second suspension from Twitch, a platform owned by Amazon.

In a series of responses, N3on shared his thoughts and frustrations surrounding the ban. On September 22, 2024, he took to his alternate X (formerly Twitter) account to express how the ban had affected him, even revealing plans to take a break for his mental health. Despite these plans, N3on returned the next day, going live on his Kick channel to publicly discuss the situation and offer his perspective on the controversy.

During the Kick stream, N3on claimed that Twitch had wrongfully banned him for misgendering Vightingale at TwitchCon. He defended his actions, stating that he didn’t realize he was using the wrong pronouns and emphasizing that the situation was not intentional. He explained, “Twitch, I got no problem with you all… I feel like I was wrongfully banned because I had nothing to do with that. I didn’t know what I was saying.”

The streamer further explained that he had not intended to misgender Vightingale and reiterated his confusion over the incident. “I didn’t mean to misgender her. I still don’t know. She didn’t clarify whether it was her or him. I don’t know… I call everyone, ‘bro.’ I don’t really look at genders, I look at the heart.”

This isn’t the only controversy surrounding N3on recently. On top of his Twitch suspension, he has also been facing accusations of view-botting his livestreams on Kick. Kick staff member Andrew Santamaria claimed that N3on artificially inflated his viewership numbers, particularly noting that his streams previously spiked to around 90,000 viewers, much higher than his recent averages of 36,000. Santamaria provided details, saying, “At one point, N3on was botting… I’m just giving you proof that, yes, we’re honing in on it.”

N3on vehemently denied these allegations, arguing that people were trying to “discredit his success.” He further claimed that he had averaged 100,000 concurrent viewers and boasted of having the “fastest chat in history.”

As the controversy unfolds, N3on continues to assert his innocence regarding both the misgendering incident and the view-botting accusations. Whether or not his Twitch ban will be lifted remains to be seen, but the streamer remains active on Kick, where he still engages with his sizable audience.
