The Concept

Revealed on a podcast with Olympian Noah Lyles, the upcoming video features two newly graduated pilots attempting to stay in a private jet for 100 consecutive days. The incentive? If they succeed, they get to keep the jet. Participants are given the freedom to decide how to use the jet, thanks to unlimited fuel provided by MrBeast’s team.
“The flying is a choice!” MrBeast clarified in a social media post. “They can just stay in the airport and don’t have to fly anywhere. It’s just an option to make it more fun.”
This freedom allows for creative scenarios like flying to New York for pizza and then heading to California for rest.

The Backlash
Despite the apparent flexibility of the challenge, critics were quick to express concerns. On X (formerly Twitter), users raised issues regarding environmental impact and participant safety.
One user quipped, “This would instantly reverse all the pollution and emissions he saved from planting those 100 million trees,” referencing MrBeast’s high-profile #TeamTrees initiative.
Others questioned the ethics of risking participants’ well-being, with sentiments like “Let’s risk pilots’ lives for entertainment” gaining traction online.

MrBeast’s Reassurances
In response, MrBeast emphasized that the pilots are certified professionals and that flying is entirely optional. He also addressed environmental concerns, asserting that his team would track and offset any carbon emissions resulting from the challenge:
“We’re tracking the carbon emitted and [we’re] gonna offset it at the end of the video.”
While details on the carbon offset strategy remain unclear, it’s evident MrBeast is mindful of the environmental impact.
Release Date
Although the video has been filmed, no release date has been announced. Fans and critics alike will have to wait to see whether the participants can endure the 100-day challenge and how much travel the jet ultimately racks up.
This latest endeavor reflects MrBeast’s ability to create innovative content that stirs debate, underscoring his status as one of YouTube’s most influential creators. Whether the video becomes another viral sensation or fuels further controversy, it’s certain to capture global attention.
