YouTube sensation MoistCritikal has launched a scathing critique against Kick, a streaming platform, following the ban of one of its top streamers, N3on, for broadcasting himself involved in a hit-and-run incident with a reckless driver.
MoistCritikal did not hold back in expressing his dissatisfaction with Kick, a platform that emerged in 2023 as a competitor to Twitch, backed by Stake, an online gambling company. The controversy erupted after N3on received a ban from Kick for streaming himself riding in the passenger seat of a speeding Lamborghini, which was seen swerving in and out of traffic before colliding with a yellow van and fleeing the scene.

Although N3on was not behind the wheel, the act of broadcasting the illegal activity led to his removal from the platform, albeit for an undisclosed period. MoistCritikal took aim at Kick, labeling it a platform rife with illegal activities that goes largely unchecked.
In his scathing remarks, MoistCritikal criticized Kick for its lenient approach to enforcing rules, likening it to Twitch’s past struggles with maintaining appropriate content standards. He derided Kick as “laughable” and lambasted N3on as “insufferable” for his actions.
The incident involving N3on is not an isolated case of controversial content on Kick. Other instances, such as streamer Natalie Reynolds catching a shark during a broadcast and sitting on it, as well as Johnny Somali harassing a female police officer and posting inappropriate images at a holy site, have also sparked outrage.
N3on’s recent release from prison in Dubai after filming in a restricted area during one of his streams adds another layer of controversy to the situation. It remains unclear whether N3on will face legal repercussions for streaming the joyride in New York City, with conflicting claims regarding the agreement with the driver and the speed limit.
The criticisms voiced by MoistCritikal underscore broader concerns about content moderation and accountability on streaming platforms like Kick. As the platform grapples with controversies and legal implications, questions regarding its ability to effectively govern content and maintain integrity continue to loom large.
