While Qi Jia made it to El Salvador, where the pageant is being held, she missed more than a week of pre-event events due to the visa delay. The Miss Universe China official page released the update on Instagram. The Miss Universe competition regions will take place from November 15 to November 18. The organising committee as well as the champion, Ms. Jia Qi, initiated visa procedures as soon as her coronation was made public and actively got ready for the world finals, but due to the tardiness of issuance, she travelled to El Salvador shortly as the visa was issued and he lost over a week’s worth of activities, making him unable to participate in this year’s international event.”
