Mike Tyson calls out Hulu for ‘stealing’ his life story
Mike Tyson took to social media to take a jab at Hulu. He claimed that the streaming platform had produced their new biographical series, ‘Mike’ without his permission.
The former professional heavyweight boxer also mentions that the service did not pay him any compensation for telling his story.
He wrote in a post, ‘Don’t let Hulu fool you. I don’t support their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022. They stole my life story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu executives, I’m just a n****r they can sell on the auction block.’
The legendary athlete outlined the post with a caption that read, ‘Hulu is the streaming version of the slave master. They stole my story and didn’t pay me.’
Tyson’s recent post comes after he shared an image to commend UFC president Dana White for refusing the streamer’s offer to promote, ‘Mike’.
The 56-year-old sportsman shared a picture of himself alongside White.
His caption read, ‘Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother Dana White millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over the story about my life.’
He further added, ‘He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity. I’ll never forget what he did for me just like I’ll never forget what Hulu stole from me.’
