Michael Carmen Pitt is an American actor, model, and musician. He was born on 10tn April 1981 in West Orange, New Jersey. Moreover, he was born to Donald B. Pitt and Eleanor Carol (née DeMaio) Pitt.
Michael’s father worked as an auto mechanic while his mother was a waitress. Donald is of English descent and Eleanor is of Italian and Irish heritage.
Furthermore, Michael is the youngest child in the family. He has two older sisters and one older brother.
When Michael was 16 years old he has already been moved to nearly three or four different high schools which included Morris Catholic High School. He was further taking ‘special classes’ but ultimately decided to drop out of school.

Michael Pitt has managed to keep his personal life private. Although he has been linked to a couple of celebrities.
Michael began dating model Jamie Bochert in 2004. A year later in 2005, he announced that they were ‘engaged for a long time now.’ Shortly after the pair moved together to an apartment in Brooklyn with their cat named Crackhead.
Moreover, Michael talked about his relationship with Bochert in an interview with Observer magazine in 2009.
During the interview, Michael called the now 43-year-old New Jersey native his ‘other half.’
Nevertheless, in 2014 the Daily Mail confirmed that the 41-year-old actor has called it quits with his decade-long girlfriend.
Before Michael started dating Bochert, he was engaged to Italian filmmaker Asia Argento from 2003 to 2004.
Additionally, the former couple also worked for a movie together during their brief relationship. Michael featured in the 2004 film The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things in which Argento served as an actor, writer, and director. The film further starred Jimmy Bennett, Dylan Sprouse, and Cole Sprouse.

Michael Pitt made waves in Hollywood when he featured as Tommy Gnosis in the 2001 musical film Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
Furthermore, his filmography further includes 2002’s Murder by Numbers, 2003’s The Dreamers, 2005’s Last Days, and 2007’s Funny Games.
Michael got candid about his career choices during an interview with Elle magazine back in 2014.
He said, ‘To be honest, I make very controversial films. The films that I’ve made have been very, very bold choices.’
Moreover, he continued, ‘Every movie that I’ve picked, from my first film on, has been considered by everyone to be “career suicide.”‘
