Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield is currently all over the TikTok app owing to his odd yet adorable laugh.
The star has been causing an uproar ever since he returned to reprise his character of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Andrew Garfield was seen alongside Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire in the MCU movie. The film hit the screens last December and was a box office hit.
Garfield’s scenes from the film were overflowing the For You page on TikTok. Particularly the scene where he saved MJ -played by Zendaya- from falling off a tower.
However, it’s not his one-liners in the movie that is taking the social media service by storm right now. Rather it’s a soundbyte from an interview that was recorded in December 2021.
The fans have remade the clip into humorous edits and memes countless times. Although many TikTok users are wondering where the audio byte actually emerged from or why it is currently going viral on the app. Here’s everything you need to know.
Andrew Garfield’s TikTok laughing clip explained
Andrew Garfield took part in Wired’s legendary Autocomplete Interviews. He attended the interview to promote his Oscar-nominated film, Tick, Tick…Boom! on 7th December 2021.
As per the interview idea the actor needed to answer the most searched questions about him on Google. The questions asked in the interview are mostly user-generated and hence can sometimes result in an uncomfortable or hilarious situation.
However, in Garfield’s case, we can see the star getting both hilarious and uncomfortable.
In the interview, a particularly humorous search query popped up that said: “Andrew Garfield Organ Movie.”
The question had the actor cracking up with his weird iconic laugh that eventually is now surfacing all over TikTok.
Andrew Garfield answered the question by saying, “That sounds like the title of my s*x tape or something!”
The star later went on to clarify that the person was most probably referring to his 2010 film, Never Let Me Go.
While the actor moved on to reply to other questions his high-pitched laugh left the fans stunned.
Netizens could not get over the weird laugh and hence became a viral sensation on the social media platform.
Fans have edited the video by either speeding it up or slowing it down. Some fans have even compared his giggle to DC’s character The Joker’s maniacal laugh or even the laugh of the Green Goblin.
