Meghan Markle faces criticism for her British accent

Meghan Markle is being slammed for trying to use a British accent in the latest episode of her podcast Archetypes.

Meghan Markle tries British accent
Megan Markle recently released a new episode for her Spotify podcast called ‘Archetypes’ where she was joined alongside guest, Jameela Jami.
At the beginning of the episode, the She-Hulk actress greets, ‘You alright, babe? Hello?’
The estranged British royal family replied with, ‘Ello. Hello, my friend. How are you doing?’
However, the California-born Markle reflected the statement in a British accent which is quite different from her usual American accent.
Moreover, the said episode is titled, ‘The Audacity of the Activist with Jameela Jamil and Shohreh Aghdasgloo.’
According to the episode description, the pair will talk about the judgments women face while working in an activist world.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time the ex-Deal or No Deal briefcase star has been accused of trying to use a British accent.
A fan shared footage of Markle from a trip in 2018 where she is joined by Queen Elizabeth II. In the viral clip, netizens noticed that her voice appears to sound slightly different than her usual speech.
At that time a CNN reporter said, ‘Strictly speaking, for someone in Britain, it’s not British yet. It’s not. But it is on the way. I think that she’s obviously slowing down her language, enunciating more, as royals try to do so people can understand them.’
Besides that, Jamil gave a befitting reply to the haters who continue to mock and ridicule Markle for every small action she does.
She mentioned, ‘It’s an unfathomable amount of s**t that you take, Meghan. I can’t believe it.’
The 36-year-old British actress continued, ‘I fought back on your behalf for years before I’d ever met you because I was so outraged by the twisting of this very normal, very kind, very civilized woman. That demonization just shows how afraid they are of you.’

Megan Markle is facing the heat for saying the four-letter word in a British accent. Many users took to social media to criticize the former actress for it.
