Megan Fox is opening up about her pregnancy losses, including an ectopic pregnancy when she was younger. Fox, 37, discussed her pregnancy with Women Wear Daily in an interview published Wednesday about her new poetry book, “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous.” Fox previously disclosed a miscarriage she had with partner Machine Gun Kelly, 33, born Colson Baker, on “Good Morning America” earlier this month. She did, however, tell WWD that “other things” happened to her that she has yet to divulge publicly. An ectopic pregnancy happens when “a fertilised egg implants and grows outside the primary cavity of the uterus,” stated to the Mayo Clinic.

If the fallopian tube (which normally transports eggs from the ovaries to the uterus) ruptures, the fertilised egg “can’t survive” & may result in life-threatening haemorrhage. With ex-husband Brian Austin Green, the actor and screenwriter has three children: Noah, 11, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7. After ten years of marriage, the couple divorced in 2020. Casie, Machine Gun Kelly’s 14-year-old daughter from a prior relationship, is the only child he has. Fox’s debut book, published on November 7, has 70 pairs of poetry about pregnancy loss & physical and emotional abuse from anonymous partners. Fox explained to “GMA” that the poetry book is not an exposé, instead being a message to other women about the need to speak up.

What Exactly Is An ectopic Pregnancy? Investigating Megan Fox Medical Status As She Discloses A Recent Miscarriage

Megan Fox, 37, recently opened up about a painful chapter in her life: her miscarriage while she was 10 weeks pregnant with her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly. This revelation came during an interview about her new poetry collection, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous. In this highly personal conversation, Fox discussed the tremendous impact of her miscarriage, a loss made all the more difficult by her intense emotional connection with Machine Gun Kelly. She also boldly shared a previous ectopic pregnancy, revealing the depths of her pain. “The journey was considerably harder than I expected it would be, and I have analyzed why that was.”” Fox said in an interview with WWD. “What was so difficult for me?” she said, “Because when I was younger, I had an ectopic pregnancy, and I’ve had other things that I won’t say because God forbid the world will be in an uproar.” Although I have experienced similar issues in the past, I have never been so in love with anyone.”

Fox found peace in writing after her miscarriage, using it as a therapeutic tool to express her sadness and suffering. Recognising the power of their shared sadness, Fox and Kelly turned to their creative outlets to help them negotiate these turbulent emotions. Kelly dedicated songs to their unborn child in an emotional tribute, while Fox addressed her sadness via poems in her book. Megan Fox’s candour about her personal life and medical experience has piqued people’s interest in the nature of ectopic pregnancies. To begin, it is critical to comprehend what an ectopic pregnancy implies. An ectopic pregnancy develops when a fertilised egg grows outside the uterus, according to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (ACOG). More than 90% of these pregnancies occur in the fallopian tube, which might result in tube rupture as the pregnancy continues. Dr. Christine Greves, a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist, explains why an ectopic pregnancy is not viable, which means it cannot result in a live birth.
