Thomas Massie, a 50-year-old American politician, and businessman posted a family picture on Twitter to wish the greeting of Christmas to the netzines. The family picture featured military-style rifles, and he captioned it Merry Christmas! ps. Santa, please bring ammo.

The tweet by Thomas has received a reaction in huge amount with 90k replies and thousands of retweets. This picture received a backlash because just a few days ago the Michigan school shooting incident took place, and a need for strict firearms law was requested. Many users requested him to bring the post down.

Who Is Thomas Massie And Family?

Thomas Massie is a representative from Kentucky’s Republicans and was appointed in 2012. Massie represents Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District since 2012. The district covers the area of northeastern Kentucky and 280 miles of the Ohio River. Thomas Massie, also known as a libertarian Republican and supporter of the Second amendment. This year, in April, the congressman introduced a bill that prescribed the age limit to acquiring firearms. According to this bill, the age limit to possess a handgun should be 21 to 18.

Thomas also runs a cattle farm in Garrison with his wife, Rhonda Howard Massie, and four children. Rhonda is also present in the viral family picture, and according to Thomas, she was his high school sweetheart. The family is complete with two sons and two daughters. The younger daughter sits in between Thomas and Rhonda in the picture.

According to reports, the Massie family members held firearms that looked similar to an M60 Machine gun, Thompson Submachine gun, and an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.
