Kelly Bensimon intends to double the number of wedding invitations she sends out next year. The star of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ shared with PEOPLE that she and her fiancé Scott Litner are organizing two weddings. One will be an intimate ceremony for their immediate family, while the other will be a grand celebration for all their friends and family. Although Kelly has initiated the wedding planning process, she has yet to finalize the venue and date. She is aiming for an early 2024 celebration in New York. Scott Litner, born in 1969, boasts a career spanning over 25 years in the financial services industry. Since March 2022, he has served as the executive director/sports and entertainment director at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management on a full-time basis.

Before becoming a part of Morgan Stanley, Scott Litner served as the managing director and head of business development at Taurus Asset Management. Prior to that, he held the position of managing director and private client adviser at Bank of America’s Private Bank. In this role, he led a team responsible for managing relationships with CEOs, money managers, private equity principals, endowments, foundations, and high-net-worth families.

Scott holds a BA in International Relations with a concentration in Economics from the University of Wisconsin. He takes pride in contributing to the establishment and launch of the University’s ‘Badgers In Finance’ alumni mentorship network. Scott is frequently invited to deliver annual campus presentations, assisting students in preparing for careers in finance.

Kelly Bensimon Prepares To Marry Investor Scott Litner, The ‘RHUGT’ Alum Plans Two Weddings

Kelly Bensimon intends to double the number of wedding invitations she sends out next year. The former cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City shares with PEOPLE that she and her fiancé Scott Litner are planning two weddings. The first will be an intimate ceremony for their closest friends and family, followed by a grand celebration for all their family and friends. In a recent interview promoting her appearance on Peacock’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, the model and real estate agent questioned, “What’s the point of having one when you can have two?”

Currently, they are in the process of setting dates for both events. Litner and Bensimon have already chosen June 22, 2024, as the date for their wedding, which will take place on the lawn of Litner’s family home. While the plans for the second party, to be held in the Hamptons, are still in the works, Bensimon reflects on her approach, saying, “As soon as things started, I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to be completely at ease about this.’ I reassure myself that I will be the coolest bride ever.” She adds, “After that, I started doing it.”

Sea, 25, and Teddy, 23, are the couple’s daughters. After a year of dating, Scott Litner proposed to Bensimon when they were on vacation in Wisconsin over the Fourth of July weekend. She had just concluded filming RHUGT: RHONY Legacy, which marks her long-awaited return to the Real Housewives franchise after her three-season career on RHONY ended with the completion of season 4 in 2011. “Right before we went away, I was strolling with Luann [de Lesseps] and I remarked, ‘I’m in a tricky situation,'” Bensimon recalled. ” “And we were not really given an opportunity to go through it while we were filming, however then I came back and boom — I’m engaged!” The finance professional proposed with a five-carat emerald-cut diamond ring from NYC jeweller Material Good. The two met at Lake Genova, which Bensimon describes as “one of my favourite places.”
