Meet Nichola Basara Wife of Riverdale’s Casey Cott, Their Relationship Explored

Casey Cott is officially out of the dating pool after he tied the knot with Nichola Basara on Saturday, Dec. 18. The CW actor announced his exciting news on his Instagram Stories, posting a black-and-white picture of himself kissing his wife romantically as he showed off his wedding band.
Casey wore a classic tuxedo for his big day, while Nichola looked like a vision in white in a strapless ballgown. Along with their nearest and dearest, the 29-year-old actor’s Riverdale co-stars were there as well: Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Vanessa Morgan, KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, and Drew Ray Tanner.
Who is Nichola Basara?
Casey, who is quite active on social media, is a bit different from Nichola, who does not seem to have much time for social media. Currently, she has over 600 Instagram followers as she keeps her profile profitable.
Casey is not afraid to post amazing pictures with Nichola, even though she barely shares anything from her life. They announced their engagement on December 19, as Casey shared a picture on social media.
Several cast members posted videos behind the scenes of the couple’s wedding day.
Taking the time to share a video of himself at the reception with KJ, Drew posted “Congrats!” on Instagram Stories. As the bride and groom walked arm-in-arm into the venue, he snapped a video, “And of course to Casey Cott and Nichola Basara. Love you Guys!“.
In addition, Camila and Madelaine shot photos and videos of themselves getting ready for the wedding. Madelaine prepped her face with a mask in one image. Lili took a selfie at the reception with Vanessa later in the evening.
During an interview with US Weekly, Casey explained that each member of the cast was tasked with a different task.
He said: “They’ve been asked. They’re aware of their responsibilities coming up. … Luckily, we kind of planned a lot in the very beginning, and now we’re into the details, which is fun and exciting and stressful.” He went on to remark that they are having a great time. They’re all in full-fledged planning mode right now. “We may or may not be doing our food tasting this week,” said Casey.
Were They Going To Postpone Their Wedding?
During an interview with the outlet, Casey revealed that they were planning a small wedding. At that time, both his family and her family, who are from Canada, lived in the United States. The family was hoping the border issue will work out and everyone can come here for the wedding, which is really cool. He said “So we’re really excited that he’s going to be very involved. We’re really close with all of our siblings, and we figured that’d be a good role for him.“
Their wedding day was perfect, and they were able to spend it surrounded by their loved ones.
