Recently, strange news has hit the Internet with curiosity among people from all over the world. In California, A woman named “Fatima Madrigal” gave birth to her twin babies in different years. Isn’t it strange? As per sources, she said, “it is crazy to me that they are twins and have different birthdays.”
Have you ever heard about twin babies who are born in different years? In California, a pair of babies took birth 15 minutes apart from each other. One baby was born on 31st December 2021 at 11:45 PM whereas another baby took birth on 1st January 2022 at 12:00 AM.
Because of the 15 minutes time gap, both the babies will celebrate their birthdays on different dates. And as it was New Year’s eve therefore they are said to be born in two different years.
Who are the Twins?
The name of the baby boy is Alfredo and his sister’s name is Aylin. The name of the twin babies’ parents are Fatima Madrigal and Robert Trujillo and they are from Greenfield city. Natividad Medical Centre, the hospital, where Fatima Madrigal was admitted for giving birth to her babies.
The hospital authorities shared a post on its Facebook page that says, “Baby Aylin Yolanda Trujillo was born exactly at midnight in 2022, but get this: her twin brother, Alfredo Antonio Trujillo, was born 15 minutes before in 2021.” Along with the post, they also attached the picture of the siblings who are born in two different years.
As per reports, both babies are born healthy and are free from any complications. When Aylin was born she weighed 5 lbs, 14 oz (2.66 kg approx.), while her elder brother, Alfredo, was born with the weight 6lbs, 1 oz (2.75 kg approx.).
Family and Doctor’s Reaction
Fatima Madrigal, the mother of the twin babies, expressed her feeling of having babies with a special case. She said, “it’s crazy to me that they are twins and have different birthdays. I was surprised and happy that she arrived at midnight.”
The doctor who delivered the twins said, “this was definitely one of the most memorable deliveries of my career. It was an absolute pleasure to help these little ones arrive here safely in 2021 and 2022. What an amazing way to start the new year.”
The twin babies have three more siblings who are elder to them. They have two elder sisters and one elder brother. All the family members are excited to welcome both little members to their house. The eldest child of the couple is excited and happy to finally have a brother.
