Elon Musk & Mark Zuckerberg’s public feud heated up following the initial success of Meta’s Threads social media platform in July. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Platforms Inc., said it’s “time to move on” from rumors of a cage battle between him and Elon Musk. If Elon ever gets serious about an official event and a real date, he knows how to contact me. Otherwise, I think it’s time to move on,” Zuckerberg wrote on Meta’s Threads. “I’m going to focus on competing against people who take the sport seriously.” Musk has been hyping the prospect of a confrontation with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for weeks.

Musk later announced last week that he will get an MRI of his neck and upper back, which may necessitate surgery. Musk, the owner of Twitter, which he renamed X, seems to hint that the fight would take place in an “epic location” in Italy. He described streaming options and a historical setting for the intended event, claiming to have communicated with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Tensions between the two internet billionaires’ companies have been high since Zuckerberg’s Meta launched Threads, a text-based chat tool, in July. Following the debut, Twitter submitted a cease-and-desist letter to Zuckerberg, stating Meta had engaged in “unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property.”

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg Says Musk Is Not Serious About Cagefight: “It’s Time For Us To Move On”

After Twitter’s owner failed to name a date and stated he needed surgery, Meta’s CEO says it’s time to move on. Mark Zuckerberg has stated that he is no longer interested in a supposed cage fight with Elon Musk, alleging that the Tesla CEO “isn’t serious.” When Musk tweeted that he was “up for a cage fight” in June, the two billionaire tech executives appeared to have agreed to combat. Zuckerberg, who oversees Facebook and Instagram, responded to Musk’s post with “Send me location.” On Sunday, though, he stated on the social networking platform Threads, We all agree that Elon isn’t committed, so let’s move on.” I suggested a real date. Dana White (UFC president) volunteered to make this a legitimate charity fight. “Elon refuses to confirm a date, then insists he needs surgery, and now wants to practice in my backyard. Elon knows where to find me if he wants to set up an actual date and official event. Otherwise, it’s time to go.

I’m going to concentrate on competing against people who are serious about the sport.” Musk, the owner of Twitter, which he renamed X, seems to hint that the fight would take place in an “epic location” in Italy. He described streaming options and a historical setting for the intended event, claiming to have communicated with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Tensions between the two internet billionaires’ companies have been high since Zuckerberg’s Meta launched Threads, a text-based chat tool, in July. Following the debut, Twitter submitted a cease-and-desist letter to Zuckerberg, stating Meta had engaged in “unlawful misappropriation of Twitter’s trade secrets and other intellectual property.” Zuckerberg is a mixed martial arts practitioner who recently posted about finishing his first jiu-jitsu event. Musk stated last week that he was lifting weights in preparation for the fight. As he put it on X, “Don’t have time to work out, so I bring them to work instead.”
