Lizzo took to her social media to respond to the criticism she is facing for dressing up as Chrisean Rock for Halloween this year.
She cleared the air by stating that she was not trying to offend anyone.
The 34-year-old singer wrote, ‘I didn’t put on a “skinny suit.” U can dress up as someone w/out being offensive. Rock lit I’m lit it’s all love. Don’t make it weird.’
Lizzo shared a series of pictures of herself recreating Rock’s look on Instagram.
She wore a white tee and matched them with a pair of denim shorts. Besides that, she flaunted her Chrisean-like neck tattoo and her missing front tooth.
The Truth Hurts singer’s clarification comes after several users pointed out that she should not encourage Rock for being in a toxic on-and-off relationship with Blueface since 2020.
If you didn’t know, Rock and Blueface’s chaotic relationship has been making headlines for the past few months.
Moreover, many users have called their relationship unhealthy after Rock alleged that the Thotiana rapper hit her during a dispute.
