Lizzo Counterattacks: Plans to Sue Backup Dancers Amidst Controversy
4 min readLizzo intends to sue the same backup dancers who are suing her… and new photographs show her accusers having a good time backstage after some naked entertainment in Paris, approximately a month after the iconic banana incident in Amsterdam. Marty Singer, Lizzo’s attorney, says to TMZ that newly released photographs show Lizzo’s accusers “happily carousing” and “gleefully revelling” backstage with the performers from a topless cabaret show in Paris during Lizzo’s tour. Singer claims that the pictures were taken on March 5, nearly a month after the controversial February visit to Amsterdam’s Bananenbar. Lizzo’s victims claim in their lawsuit that she forced them to eat bananas from performers’ vaginas.

Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, Lizzo’s accusers, also stated that they were basically forced to attend the Paris topless show, but her attorney says that contradicts the photos… he states they’re “happily cavorting backstage” along with the topless dancers, who are the ones wearing the colourful wigs. Singer claims that Lizzo’s accusers reconnected with her a few weeks after the Paris show & returned for the third part of her tour. Lizzo was seen in public for the very first time since being sued on Monday, and she stated she was well and working on new music. Many fans were divided by Lizzo’s lawyer’s decision to share recordings of backup dancers having fun at a naked show in a location unrelated to the lawsuit.

Fans React As ‘About Damn Time’ Singer Lizzo Is Planning To Sue The Backup Dancers Who Sued Her First
According to NBC, Lizzo has been accused of sexual harassment as well as creating a hostile work environment for three of her backup dancers, Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez. On August 1, 2023, the dancers filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court against the Juice singer and her production business Big Grrrl Big Touring Inc. According to the source, the American rapper allegedly tried to push Arianna Davis to touch naked dancers at the Amsterdam strip club Bananenbar. She also allegedly made numerous fat-shaming remarks towards the dancers and wrongfully fired Arianna and Crystal. According to PEOPLE, Lizzo is now going to sue the backup dancers as photographs of them having a wonderful time at a separate event with naked dancers in Paris surface. New information about the case has emerged while the lawsuit is still in progress. The spotlight is now on the plaintiffs after Arianna Davis’s lawyer, Marty Singer, revealed photos of Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez reportedly “happily cavorting backstage,” according to PEOPLE. The plaintiffs were photographed smiling and posing with topless cabaret act performers from Crazy Horse. The incident occurred on March 5, 2023, in Paris, followed by a separate incident in February in Amsterdam.
Marty Singer made a statement as well, saying, “These images showing the three plaintiffs gleefully revelling backstage after the topless show were captured after their February 2023 visit to Bananenbar in Amsterdam that they complained about in their lawsuit.” Many fans were divided by Lizzo’s lawyer’s decision to share recordings of backup dancers having fun at a naked show in a location unrelated to the lawsuit. While some backed Lizzo and vouched for her innocence in the situation, others highlighted the fact that the main problem in the lawsuit was one of consent, stating that the dancers’ return to the cabaret was by personal choice, rendering the most recent photos irrelevant. Lizzo was seen in public for the first time after being sued on Monday, and she stated she was well and working on new music. In addition to the images and videos, her attorney claims he has other “substantial evidence” that “proves the glaring contradictions among what the plaintiffs allege in their bogus lawsuit and what is actually proved by the facts.” Lizzo’s lawyer is calling the lawsuit a “sham” and says she plans to sue for malicious prosecution once she wins the backup dancers’ suit.
