The sole child of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley’s cause of death revealed by the medical examiner’s office. As per the report Lisa died of a bowel blockage, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office. The restriction was caused by adhesions from weight-loss surgery she had several years ago. Presley, who was also a singer, died on January 12 after being transported to a hospital in California. She was 54 years old. Her last public appearance was at the Golden Globes two days prior to her death. Local officials claimed at the time of Presley’s death that first responders had been summoned to her Calabasas home, where they discovered her in cardiac arrest.

The medical examiner’s office determined on Thursday that she died of natural causes, citing a “small bowel obstruction” as the reason for her cardiac arrest. This happens when the small intestine becomes clogged, which can happen as a result of colon cancer, medicine, or adhesions (scar tissue) that form after surgery. Some gastrointestinal diseases can cause minor bowel blockages. In Presley’s instance, the report determined that the adhesions were created by bariatric surgery, which she underwent several years ago. Several studies have shown that this type of surgery is associated with long-term complications.

Elvis And Priscilla Presley’s Only Child Lisa Marie Presley’s Cause Of Death Revealed
As reported by the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s Office, Lisa Marie Presley died as a result of an insignificant bowel obstruction. The report classified “Cause A” as a “sequel of small bowel obstruction.” “Cause D” also included a list of “other significant conditions.” Her death was described as “natural.” According to the autopsy report, she had complained of stomach ache earlier in the day. Presley suffered from a frequent problem after undergoing bariatric surgery years ago. According to the Mayo Clinic, it is frequently used when other weight loss strategies have failed or when an individual has a serious medical problem. Presley was “transported” to a hospital in January after sheriff’s officers attended to a “not breathing call” at her Calabasas home, police revealed to Fox News Digital at the time. Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant Zeko according to the report, police responded to a complaint of a woman who was not breathing, and after the fire department rendered assistance, they transported the woman to a nearby hospital.
Presley, a singer-songwriter, was Elvis and Priscilla Presley’s only child. She also has a half-brother, Navarone Garibaldi, from her mother’s 20-year marriage to Marco Garibaldi. In May, Priscilla and Lisa Marie’s oldest daughter Riley Keough struck an agreement on Lisa Marie’s inheritance. Keough, 33, was appointed as the estate’s beneficiary. “After my daughter Lisa Marie’s untimely death, my family sorted out all misunderstandings regarding our plea to the court & requests for document interpretation,” Priscilla’s representatives said in a statement to Fox News Digital. Despite what the media reported, there was no lawsuit filed against my well-loved granddaughter.” We are delighted that we were able to resolve this together.” According to the Los Angeles Times, Priscilla, 77, had opposed an alteration reportedly made by Lisa Marie in 2016 that substituted her business manager and mother as beneficiaries with her oldest daughters. Lisa Marie was buried at Graceland, the family property in Memphis, Tennessee, alongside her son & her celebrated father.
