Lil Uzi Vert Retiring: ‘Luv Is Rage 3’ to Be His Last Album, Fans Express Mixed Emotions

Lil Uzi Vert has stated that he’s retiring from music, expressing some sadness about it being his final album. “Luv Is Rage 3” is expected to be his last album.
Lil Uzi Vert has been a significant figure in the business for some years, but they appear to be ready to step away from the rock star lifestyle & try something new. Following the release of their fourth studio album, Luv Is Rage 3, the “Neon Guts” rapper has declared plans to retire. On Monday, during the second night of the Pink Tape Tour in Chicago, Lil Uzi Vert declared that they plan to exit the music industry. “My last album will be Luv Is Rage 3,” Uzi announced. “No, take it easy. It’s OK. … I’m guessing that after Luv Is Rage 3, I’ll go on an additional tour for Luv Is Rage 3. But after that, I’d like to attempt to live a normal life.”

Following releasing its music video on September 29, the Philadelphia rapper released their next single, “NFL,” an acronym for “Never Fall in Luv,” as a promotional tune off the upcoming Luv Is Rage 3. With their third studio album, Pink Tape, Lil Uzi Vert becomes the first rapper in 2023 to have an album debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Metro Boomin and Future, on the other hand, have replaced Lil Uzi Vert on the Rolling Loud California programme. This comes only hours after Uzi, a musician & rapper who prefers the pronouns they/them, openly denied ever signing off on the gig. On November 14, the same day the festival unveiled Nicki Minaj as well as Post Malone as headliners, Lil Uzi Vert posted on Instagram, “I didn’t say anything I was doing rolling loud.” “I’m not sure why my name is on here.”

“Neon Guts” Rapper Lil Uzi West Announces His Plans To Retire After ‘Luv Is Rage’ 3
Lil Uzi Vert will have ample time for playing Call of Duty alongside Nardwuar in the near future. During the most recent stop on their Pink Tape Tour, Lil Uzi Vert, 28, revealed that their album, Luv Is Rage 3, will be their last. Uzi (born Symere Woods and using they/them pronouns) assured their fans in fan footage from the event that the end is close. “I reached this conclusion not too long ago,” Uzi replied with a laugh. “Originally, I was going to wait till later to announce it, but, you know, I’m dropping Luv Is Rage 3, as well as, Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album.” The fans at present were understandably furious. However, Uzi guaranteed their fans that they would not vanish once the highly awaited album was released via streaming sites. “Relax, it’s okay,” Uzi said. “After Luv Is Rage 3, I’ll probably go on another tour, but I’d like to try to live a normal life.” While the audience was still in mourning, the tide began to turn as fans shouted Uzi’s name. The rapper from “Bad and Boujee” was moved by the reaction. I really appreciate all of your help, and I really appreciate you accepting me no matter what,” Lil Uzi Vert said.

In 2016, they released Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World and The Perfect LUV Tape, which helped establish Uzi’s career. The next year, Uzi released Luv Is Rage 2, their debut studio album. As of 2023, the album had gone double platinum and was Uzi’s best-selling record to that point. A number of mixtapes have been released by Uzi since breaking out in 2014 and he has consistently appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 as a lead artist (“XO Tour Llif3,” “Sauce It Up,” “Futsal Shuffle 2020,” “Endless Fashion”) and as a featured rapper (“XO Tour Llif3,” “Sauce It Up,” “Futsal Shuffle 2020,” “Endless Fashion”)”). Pink Tape, Uzi’s third studio album, was released in June. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart and garnered mixed to good reviews, with a Metacritic score of 64.
