Back when the death news of Lil Tay and her brother came out on social media. The former came forward to say “My Instagram account was compromised by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors regarding me, to the point that even my name was wrong”. She added, “My legal name is Tay Tian, not ‘Claire Hope'”.
While now her Instagram account has another viral post claiming that her death on social media was faked by her father. Along with a pic of her father and his full legal name, the lines posted on her Instagram read “My abusive, racist, misogynistic, woman-beating father faked my death”.

In his statement to TMZ, Christopher said “The person who is responsible for that Instagram post, as well as anyone repeating the completely false and libelous accusations within it, are virtually certain to become defendants in a defamation lawsuit”. Lil Tay’s father has called the recent Instagram post accusing him to be “100% false”.
