For the very first time in his career, Lil Durk found himself on a country road with a controversial performer Morgan Wallen.

Lil Durk has worked with many artists in the music industry. In particular, last year he expanded his fans and audience through big projects, performances, and songs with Drake and Lil Baby. He has worked alongside rappers and singers. But this Inexplicable collaboration is the first new trial for him.

After knowing what Morgan Warren did previously in 2021, everyone thought that it would make the song a bit controversial. But most of the reactions received on social media from fans are cheerful and supportive. Worthwhile, the artist’s demographics don’t have a lot of apparent duplication. However, some may not be aware of what Warren did or he was just innocent. But in the end, it’s still a collaboration under many suspicions.

Nonetheless, this song is here and, overall, is a rap and country crossover record. It is mainly focused on women who are only paying attention to Warren and Dark for money and status.

Lil Durk and Morgan Wallen Broadway Girls

The track, “Broadway Girls,” was released as a bombshell Thursday night, and it’s far stronger hip-hop than country. Morgan mostly sings the hook while Durk performs the rapping… however there are a couple of phrases that feel like Morgan dunking his heel and trying a little rapping.

Some of Lil Durk’s most popular tracks include ‘Laugh Now Cry Later,’ which he wrote alongside Drake, ‘The Voice,’ ‘3 Headed Goat,’ which he wrote alongside Lil Baby as well as Polo G. ‘Havin My Way,’ which he wrote alongside Lil Skies.

Morgan Wallen Racist Slur Controversy

In February, TMZ aired a video showing him yelling harsh language and racist slurs at a buddy.
After the incident’s broadcast, Wallen reported a 1,220 percent rise in digital music sales and a 327 percent growth in single sales.

“My record had already been performing great before this occurred,” he told ABC’s “Good Morning America” co-host, Michael Strahan. “It had already been receiving positive feedback from reviewers and audiences. My staff and I realized that anytime this entire episode occurred, my sales increased.”
However, Wallen stated that he had not considered what the link would entail for country music lovers.
“Do you think there is a racial problem with folk music as a whole?” Strahan inquired.

“I mean, it really would appear that way,” he responded. “Yeah. I mean, I really haven’t given it much attention.”
