Berkley told Sales, ‘She said, “Jay Ferguson and Leo are going crazy for you. They want you to come to Elaine’s after this — without Roger.”‘

However, Berkley thought it was some kind of joke and declined the offer considering she was in a live-in relationship with Wilson at the time.

Nevertheless, the next day, Berkley claimed that she was bombarded with phone calls from a couple of DiCaprio’s crew members.

Additionally, Wilson told the guys to leave Berkeley alone after he learned of the incident.

Wilson mentioned to Sales, ‘I said, “Look, Jay, I know you guys are having a great time and the town is your apple. But not this part of town.”

He continued, that after a short pause Jay Ferguson said, ‘F**k you, you f**kin’ f****t, f**kin’ motherf****r. We’ll call whoever we want and if you don’t f**kin’ like it. Why don’t you come down here and tell us to our face?’

In addition, Wilson headed towards the Manhattan restaurant to confront them.

At that time, the Revenant actor was also supposedly overheard stating, ‘Let’s go kick his a**.’

Subsequently, a brawl broke out among them when the argument got more heated which resulted in someone punching Wilson in his Adam’s apple.

Although Sales never identified the attacker she hinted that the profile was of DiCaprio. Hence, the actor went on to sue DiCaprio, Ferguson, and actor Kevin Connelly over assault charges.
