B.G. IS A FREE Guy. This Monday, the Hot Boys member was freed from prison having served 12 years of a 14-year sentence. On Tuesday, Cash Money Records founder Bryan “Birdman” Williams posted an Instagram Live showing the musician after he was released from prison. “I see the end zone after 12 winters and 13 summers.” It’s my final #Birthday, and I’m being buried alive. This year, I’m enjoying the entire Virgo cycle; in fact, from now on, I’m living and partying as if every day is #MyBIRTHDAY,” B.G. said on Instagram Monday. “Now, after 12 winters and 13 summers, I am finally in the end zone.”

Christopher Dorsey was arrested with two others in New Orleans in 2009 after police discovered three firearms and a loaded magazine in his vehicle. Two of the guns had already been reported stolen, and the car had also been stolen from an Alamo rental car parking lot. One of the other males arrested, Demounde Pollard, 20, claimed ownership of the pistols, but police eventually found that he did so at Dorsey’s instruction. When the state criminal case was transferred to federal court, both Pollard and the third guy, Jerod Fedison, pleaded guilty, with Pollard receiving a 30-month jail sentence and Fedison receiving 20 years owing to prior offences.

B.G. Is Released From Prison After More Than A Decade; Birdman Rushes To His Side

B.G. is now free. On Tuesday (September 5), the platinum-selling musician was released from prison. Birdman, co-founder of Cash Money Records, was amongst the first to welcome B.G. home. Birdman live-streamed their reunion on Instagram. B.G. was a Cash Money artist for many years, and he helped the label become a music business powerhouse. Checkmate, his final solo album for Cash Money, was released in 2000. After leaving the label, he released many projects, the most latest of which was 2009’s Too Hood 2 Be Hollywood. His criminal history, as well as a 2009 arrest, stalled his professional progress for more than a decade. In 2012, B.G. received a 14-year prison sentence for weapons possession and witness tampering. B.G. was released from prison a few days after his birthday. In an Instagram post commemorating his final birthday behind bars, he pledged to move on with his life. “This year, I’m celebrating the entire Virgo cycle; in fact, from now on, I’m living and celebrating as if every day is #MyBIRTHDAY,” B.G. posted.

“The key goal is to remain focused. Nobody is going to take away my productivity, success, positivity, or peace of mind. My dreams became larger, and my vision became clearer.” “13 years was sufficient time for me to rethink the reckless path I was on,” he added.
