it's bizarre to think that now we have to PAY to have our accounts safe when that's the minimum that every social network should offer

I received this message this morning when I got onto Twitter as well. Twitter is basically saying they are compromising our security and privacy unless we pay for it. So ridiculous.

unfortunately i think the solution will be to pay for it, lauren… we know its boring and we know that this guy wont change his mind, so u dont lose ur twitter account forever, pay for it. u also use this platform to promote things from your career.

Even if you're an artist or not, I think is terrible to remove this authentication when every single day internet is more unsafe and there are multiple ways to hack you even when you are no one, this is so bad
— Lory (@therealmisslory) February 19, 2023
This is ridiculous 🤣 you can use an Authentication App but they’re too complicated for the average user, this will leave A LOT of accounts vulnerable.
