Brown opened up about her controversial performance during an interview with Vice.
She shared that she decided to work with the Bloody Mary artist after refusing other collaboration requests because Lady Gaga seemingly ‘understood what it was all about.’
Brown stated, ‘She appreciates performance art.’
However, Demi Lovato was not happy with Lady Gaga’s performance. She accused the singer of promoting eating disorders in a 2004 tweet.
