La La Anthony says she is attracting younger men
TMZ recently caught up with La La Anthony at the airport in Los Angeles. However, the highly eligible bachelorette did not look optimistic about her dating options this year.
For the unversed, the highly eligible bachelorette recently sat down with Alex Cooper for an episode for the Spotify podcast ‘Call Her Daddy.’
However, during the tell-all interview, she claimed that only barely legal men are sliding into her DMs.
She said, ‘Here’s how it goes. This is what I’m finding, I don’t understand this … I’m not saying when you get older you want to date younger guys, but when you get older, only younger guys want to date you.’
Moreover, Anthony stated, ‘It’s the wildest thing. Guys will DM me and want to take me out and I’ll Google them, I’ll be like, “You’re 22 years old.” Like, how?’
Besides that, when the host asked her whether she is dating anyone, Anthony replied with a simple, ‘not really.’
But she pointed out that she is still single because the dating pool consists of only young guys.
Additionally, Anthony stated, ‘People think I’m just out there, like, you can have any guy you want, but not really because the guys trying to talk to me are 21 to 22 years old.’
La La Anthony and Carmelo Anthony’s relationship explored
La La Anthony became engaged to Carmelo Anthony in 2004. Moreover, they welcomed their son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony in 2007.
The couple went on to officially tie the knot in 2010 in New York where only 320 guests were invited.
However, the 40-year-old entrepreneur announced her divorce from the professional basketball player in 2021.
Meanwhile, it is speculated that the pair decided to part ways after Carmelo allegedly cheated on her wife of 11 years.
In addition, she talked about her recent divorce in the Call Her Daddy episode.
She said, ‘We had some great times. We have a beautiful son, Kiyan, who’s amazing.’
Anthony continued, ‘It wasn’t all bad. We had great, great times. It ended bad, but we’re still friends and we co-parent great… Life is just about lessons and going through different phases, and that was a phase in my life, a chapter in my life.’
Besides that, Anthony shared in an interview that she will possibly never date a basketball player again. However, she might date other athletes.
