KSI’s YouTube stardom soared after Dunjahh, his brother’s ex-girlfriend, made racist remarks during a live video that quickly went viral.

Late in January, the now ex-girlfriend of YouTuber Deji Olatunji became viral after comments on a Twitch broadcast were met with backlash online.

The stream featured Dounja ‘Dunjahh’ Akoudad engaging in conversations with a variety of broadcasters, including Wesley TW, who called him “fat-a*nose” based on his body.

Akoudad then made a racist comment towards Wesley: “Fat-a*nose?”. You’re black. You are a real black person. What are you talking about, Fat-a* nose?” before laughing.

Akoudad’s comments quickly sparked outrage on the internet, and the clip quickly took the web by storm.

Dezi later posted a video discussing the topic in which she clarified that she and Akoudad had split up more than a month ago as a result of Akoudad’s inflammatory words in social media posts.

In the days after the incident, Deji’s older brother, YouTube star KSI, began to notice and was not pleased with what he saw.

The streamer’s comments triggered a KSI reaction video, in which he lashed out at Akoudad.

She seems to be smiling like she has done something,” KSI said. “Don’t even get me started.” She smiled. Out of order bro, he’s out of order.”

The situation soon turned emotional for him. The girl has something to be laughing at!” they said. “Who are you? Who are you? Nobody would know about you if you weren’t dating my brother!”

In a statement, Akoudad says that the comment he made was a “horrifyingly conservative and very racist comment.”

It is possible that something can come across as racist, even though the intention is not to be racist,” she said.

In the case of Dezi, the YouTuber has stated he is focused on his coming boxing match against Alex Wasabi and is discussing the situation with his friends.
