This month, Kodak Black tested positive for fentanyl, which led to his admission to a drug rehab facility. Last week, Kodak Black was issued a warrant for his arrest, and he appeared in court on Tuesday (Feb. 28). In a random drug screening on Feb. 3, Kodak, 25, was not found positive for fentanyl. However, he allegedly provided a sample for a February 8 screening that tested positive for fentanyl. Bradford Cohen, Yak’s attorney, argued at Tuesday’s hearing that the lab worker who processed Kodak’s urine sample may have mixed it up because he was also working on someone else’s. In fact, the lab worker appeared in court to testify that might have been the case.

A judge said Kodak could clear everything up by offering a hair sample instead of locking him up for violating his pre-trial release. As an alternative, Kodak opted to attend a drug rehabilitation facility for 30 days. In order for Kodak to be able to perform at his previously scheduled show this weekend at the 2023 Rolling Loud California Festival, the defense successfully argued for an enrollment date for rehab on Tuesday (March 7). In addition to donating a portion of his profits to charity, he plans to organize a charity event.

An Alleged Test For Fentanyl By Kodak Black Led To Him Entering A Rehab Facility

Earlier this month, Kodak Black allegedly tested positive for fentanyl and will be entering a drug rehab facility. A warrant for Kodak Black’s arrest was issued last week, and he appeared in court on Tuesday (Feb. 28). The police say Kodak, 25, did not submit to a random drug test on Feb. 3. On Feb. 8, he gave a sample that allegedly tested positive for fentanyl. Yak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, argued at Tuesday’s hearing that it is possible that the star-struck lab worker may have mixed up Kodak’s urine sample with someone else’s while working on the other. As a matter of fact, the lab worker appeared in court to testify that could have been the case. By offering a hair sample, Kodak could clear up everything instead of being locked up for violating his pre-trial release. In place of a drug rehab facility, Kodak chose to spend 30 days there. Kodak has been allowed to perform at his previously scheduled show at the 2023 Rolling Loud California Festival this weekend after the defense successfully argued for his rehab enrollment to begin next Tuesday (March 7). As part of the proceeds from the show, he plans to donate a portion. A few days after Kodak Black’s court appearance, Bradford Cohen posted an Instagram post to share his thoughts on the case’s reporting and the verdict.

There’s no doubt that channel 10 got it wrong, he captioned an Instagram photo of himself and Kodak leaving court. Hair samples were not refused by anyone. According to Local 10 News, Kodak refused to provide a hair sample in court on Tuesday. Pretrial does not provide hair sample services, Bradford Cohen added. @kodakblack’s upcoming rehab stay will allow him to take a break from his hectic schedule and focus on his health, he added, commenting on Yak’s upcoming rehabilitation. It’s great to have him on Rolling Loud as he is a great philanthropist, and as always he has set up a scholarship fund at Nova Southeastern Law School for Meadow Pollack. It’s common to see news reports that are inaccurate because they want subscribers, and they won’t mention the good Kodak does in the community. It’s not a good story. Following his arrest last July for felony drug charges, Kodak Black is currently out on bond after police found 30 Oxycodone pills and around $75,000 in his car. The lawyer for Kodak has argued Yak had a prescription for the drugs.
