Kodak Black Arrested for Trespassing on New Year’s Eve in Florida
3 min readKodak Black, a rapper seems to not have an ideal start to 2022. As the rapper got arrested on the eve of the new year for trespassing in Pompano Beach. Trolls are claiming that Kodak Black loves jail that’s the reason he gets arrested.
In 2019, the rapper was sentenced to nearly four years in prison. After which Donald Trump pardoned the rapper in January.
Why Was Kodak Black Arrested?
The rapper was held for trespassing at Pompano Beach. It is the area where Kodak grew up. However, the rapper was later bonded out. Further detailed news is yet to be revealed on his arrest.
Kodak was spotted online on Instagram after a few hours of his arrest news got surfaced. Even Black shared a clip of him. It was a clip of a day ago where Black was spotted enjoying a gala time during a New Year Bash. Black refrained from giving any comments on his arrest on social media.
Back in 2019, when Black was sentenced to four years to prison. Donald Trump pardoned Kodak Black in January. Recently, he expressed his wish to see the former President back in the office. The rapper was behind the bars as a false statement was given to buy a firearm.
Another prolific rapper, Lil Wayne was pardoned by Trump too. On the last full day of his job. Black got his sentence commuted for supporting unprivileged children. Black has been known best for his hit singles such as ‘No Flockin’, ‘Zeze’, ‘Roll in Peace’ etc. Not only this, Kodak Black has sold over 30 million singles.
TMZ was informed about Black’s arrest by his lawyer, Bradford Cohen. The lawyer told Black was arrested but it was a bogus bust. He further added the arrest was based from 4 months ago on the cease-or-desist letter. Cohen added, “Kodak just went to his old neighborhood of Greenacres to chill with his buddies. At the same time, also to pay off credit card debt for 5 families residing in the same area.”
However, the rapper was taken into custody by the police there. Saying that Black violated the letter that was issued by the Local Housing Authority.

The hip-hop artist was being mocked by social media users. The trolls say, “Bro must like it in jail”.
Another user wrote, “Like damn dude, you are not tired of going to jail yet.”
