Kim Kardashian admitted that Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, was correct about North West being on TikTok in one case after she removed videos of their 10-year-old daughter lip-syncing to Ice Spice songs. Kardashian reminisced on her daughter North partnering with 23-year-old rapper Ice Spice in a series of TikTok videos in an interview with Time for its most influential companies of 2023 edition. North West was seen in parts of the videos dressed as Ice Spice, while others showed her lip-syncing to some of the rapper’s more mature songs. “Oh no, we’re taking this down,” Kardashian said to Time. On the internet, I saw people saying, ‘Kanye was correct,’ and perhaps he was in that case. On North’s TikTok account, another video shows her lip-syncing to the same songs while dressed as Ice Spice.

Ye has already spoken out about his children’s participation on TikTok, where she shares an account with Kardashian. Insider earlier revealed that Ye published a snapshot of one of the account’s TikTok videos in a February 2022 Instagram post that has since been removed, asking what he should do about North being put on TikTok “against my will.” Insiders stated that at the time, Kardashian released a statement on her Instagram story, claiming that Ye’s “constant attacks” on her would be more cruel than any TikTok North West could create. Kardashian previously told Angie Martinez on her “IRL” show that, despite her daughter’s existence on the app, she can only access it via her mother’s phone. She enjoys producing slime videos and performing her tiny hair tutorials, and she told Time that she will fight for her to be creative.

‘Maybe’ Kanye West Was Right: Kim Kardashian On Why She Removed North’s Tiktok Video

Kim Kardashian admitted that her ex-husband Kanye West was “right” after she was forced to erase a lip-syncing video made by their daughter North West on TikTok. “As soon as I saw the words, I was like, ‘Oh no, we’re taking this down,” the 42-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” actress told Time magazine on Tuesday. I noticed on the internet that ‘Kanye [West] was right,’ and perhaps he was in that case. North dressed as rapper Ice Spice in the now-deleted video, complete with the artist’s characteristic curly red hair, and sang her hit song “Boy’s a liar, Pt 2.” Fans were quick to point out that some of the lyrics to the popular song included graphic images of sexual intercourse. Kardashian’s ex-husband, from whom she filed for divorce in 2021 after seven years of marriage, has previously chastised her for allowing their 10-year-old son to use the famous social networking platform. In reaction to the backlash, Kardashian told the magazine that parenting may be “trial and error.” Despite the explicit lyrics, Kardashian does not believe her daughter should be barred from using the app entirely. She enjoys producing slime videos and performing her tiny hair tutorials, and she told Time that she will fight for her to be creative.

The former couple, who also has a son Saint, 7, a daughter Chicago, 5, and a boy Psalm, 4, have frequently clashed in public over their opposing parenting styles. Kanye West, who married Yeezy employee Bianca Censori in a non-legally binding ceremony in January 2022, took to his own social media account in February 2022 to attack Kardashian for allowing their daughter North to use TikTok without the rapper’s permission. I NEED TO KNOW BECAUSE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE. WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL?” the “Donda” musician, 46, said in his Instagram Story over a black background. The Skims founder wrote on Instagram that Kanye’s relentless attacks on me in interviews and on social media were actually worse than anything TikTok North could come up with. She describes herself as the “main provider” and “carer” for their children, and says she’s doing her “best to protect” North while enabling her to “express her creativity” on TikTok. “It makes [North] so happy,” she remarked. Kardashian revealed in December on Gweneth Paltrow’s podcast “The Goop” that the two parents had struck an agreement.
