Kim Kardashian Is Seen ‘mistreating’ A Cat In A Resurfaced Photo

2010 saw Kim Kardashian post the picture to Twitter with the caption, “Pic from my shoot yesterday… nice kitty kitten!” Kim Kardashian has faced criticism for mistreating a cat after an old photo of her posing with a pet in an unfavourable way surfaced. The image has been termed “disturbing” by fans.

The image shows Kim, who is now 41, appearing to have worn a black top when she emerged from the dressing room following her “Keeping Up With The Kim Kardashians” appearance. She holds a black cat by the scruff of its neck while she lets her long, previously blonde hair fall over her shoulders. With the comment, “Photo from my yesterday’s photoshoot… lovely kitty kitten,” Kim shared the image on Twitter. According to the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, while picking up a kitten, one hand should be under his rear feet or bottom and the other should be placed under his front/chest area. A kitten should also never be handled by the nape of the neck.

However, it appeared that Kim was carrying the cat exactly that way. More than 100 Reddit users found it difficult to believe what they saw when the image was published on Sunday. Many who sympathised with the cat said it appeared “stressed” and “unhappy.” Someone exclaimed, “OMG, that poor cat.” Another person said, “That’s not cool.” Many people think it’s acceptable to lift a cat in this way, but it’s not. Even if it’s pointless, it’s less harmful when a person is young and has a lower BMI.
Imagine if she lost her grip, a third remarked. Moms do carry their kittens in this manner when they are just a few ounces in weight, not when they are that large. Furthermore, they don’t hang them five feet in the air! Kim is an as**ole for this, someone yelled, while someone else dubbed her “sinister.” She should have had her face scratched by that cat. Another person said, “We all know this family’s track record with pets,” alluding to the Kim Kardashians’ ongoing disputes with animal welfare activists about how they treat animals.
