It has now been revealed that it was all because of an encounter with an “overzealous security guard.” According to TMZ, the Grammy-winning rapper has been charged with battery after a physical altercation during the awards night.

According to the reports now available, the situation leading to the rapper’s arrest arose after an “overzealous security guard” attempted to stop Mike from entering the awards event. The rapper even referred to the incident at the Grammys that led to his arrest as a misunderstanding.
