Trunks recently suffered a gunshot wound to the face. On March 20, the rapper shared some photos of his injuries and blood on his neck via Instagram.
As soon as he was diagnosed with cancer in 2022, he had a near-death experience. His caption reads, “Pray for me, family. Almost died 2 times and it’s only been 3 months of 2022″.
Kid Trunks was diagnosed with cancer after he tested positive for COVID-19. According to reports, the rapper kept the news to himself until his account was hacked in January, causing a disturbing post to be shared, leading to death rumors.
Then he told everyone, “Also, please move accordingly and stay militant everywhere you go, so that you stay safe while staying dangerous!”. He received comments from Lil Tracy and Noah Cyrus on his Instagram post asking if he was all right. No further details have been released.
Who is Kid Trunks?
Kid Trunks was born on July 4, 2000 and goes by the moniker YoungBoi Trunks. After releasing his first single, Talk, he released his most successful single, IDK, which has accumulated 10 million views on YouTube in seven months.
When he was two, his family moved to the United States from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He kept moving between Miami and Boston until he settled in Broward County, Florida, after working in Miami and Boston for several years.
As one of three siblings, Trunks grew up in a single-parent household. During middle school and high school in Florida, he was harassed and bullied.
As a single parent, he struggled to make ends meet while hustling with marijuana. Additionally, he was sent to an alternative school due to his behavior at the school.
At 15, he met XXXTentacion. He became friends with him and they began creating music together. Then, Trunks met Ski Mask the Slump God when he was welcomed into XXXTentacion’s crew “Members Only”.

Eventually, Trunks developed a dependence on drugs and eventually became a rising star. Since the release of Talk last year, the public has noticed his presence, and his Instagram followers have increased. Over 5 million people played the song on SoundCloud.
September 2017 saw the release of his debut album, The Kid Before Trunks, with nine tracks.
