With streaming platform Kick growing popular among users and many top streamers making their way to it. There’s been a shocking claim about the platform going viral now. As an X user @KickViewBot or KVB claimed about having personal data of Kick users.

The X user alleged that the Kick platform has a “massive vulnerability” in terms of its security. It also claimed to have sensitive data of Kick users, including email addresses, payment information, passwords, account addresses, password reset information, and more.
Kick executive responds to claims of platform being hacked
KVB in their claims about Kick said, “I want to be very clear about this, i have no intention of selling, distributing, or leaking any of this information. I completely understand the seriousness of this. I simply want someone from Kick to message me, so we can fix this. Your data is at risk”.

Kick executive, Paulie, reacted to the claim made by KVB as “100% fabricated”. In their response the executive said, “For the record, we do not store any passwords that are not encrypted. This is 100% fabricated and your private information remains secure”.
KVB reacts to Kick executive’s response
After Kick dismissed KVB’s claims as entirely fabricated, the X handle making the assertions about Kick users’ data being at risk reacted to the response from Kick executives, who denied that the platform users’ data was in jeopardy.

KVB also claimed to have been able to log in to over 10 accounts, stating, “Kick staff trying to discredit me instead of fixing the issue is concerning. I guess if the list isn’t real, then I’ll make it public.” Meanwhile, netizens reacted to the claims, with one user saying “all talk, no action,” and another commenting “Drop it.”
