Khloe Kardashian has spoken up about her struggle to bond with her surrogate kid. In the most recent episode of The Kardashians season three, the 38-year-old reality star opened up to her own mother, Kris Jenner, about her parenting challenges. Kardashian, who had son Tatum via surrogate in July 2022, confessed that she feels less connected to her son born via surrogacy than she does to her daughter True, whom she gave birth to. It took me a few of days with True to realise, OK, this is my daughter, Kardashian stated in episode three. It took me months with him. I adore him and adore children, but we have yet to have a true relationship.

Kardashian also admitted that she feels “guilty” about not bonding with her kid in the same manner that she has with her five-year-old daughter. Why isn’t it the same, I wonder? But I know it will be, and I also know that I don’t treat him any differently. Sometimes I just question myself. Despite her difficulties, Kris Jenner told her daughter that she is “mother of the year” to her two children and the “most attentive person” in the renowned family. Khloe Kardashian has two children with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson: True and Tatum. In the season three premiere of The Kardashians, which premiered on Hulu on May 25, Kardashian confessed for the first time that using a surrogate to bring son Tatum was a “mindf***.”

In the third episode of The Kardashians Season 3 titled Everything Is My Fault!, her mother Kris Jenner visits her. Khloe, who was uncomfortably invited out on a date by Scott Disick last week, acknowledged to Kris, ‘I feel bad,’ since she hasn’t been able to ‘connect’ with her baby three months after his birth. Khloe also confessed to Kris that she has set new limits for her ex/baby’s father Tristan Thompson, stating that she would not remarry him. Khloe agrees but says she feels ‘guilty’ since it’s not the same, adding that she doesn’t treat him differently, but she does doubt herself occasionally.

Kris adds that she should give herself a break since Khloe is the mother of the year, constantly feeding someone, entertaining someone, or doting on your kids’ every time she comes over. You’re the most considerate of all of us.’ Khloe admits that she wishes she wasn’t so critical of herself because I’m so good to everyone else, but I’m just not kind to myself.’ ‘Being a mum is certainly one of the most amazing feelings ever,’ Khloe confesses, while Kris requests to touch the baby, but Khloe tells him that he could throw up on her. Khloe Kardashian and NBA player Tristan Thompson had an on-again, off-again romance since 2016 until calling it quits in 2021. Thompson cheated on Kardashian on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians just days before their daughter’s birth in 2018. Thompson acknowledged he had a son with fitness instructor Maralee Nichols in January 2022, after she filed a paternity claim against the 32-year-old basketball player. The controversy broke about a month after Kardashian and Thompson’s kid was conceived, according to reports.
