Kelsea Ballerini recently took to her TikTok to share an emotional video of herself on Saturday.
The 28-year-old country music star appears to be crying while she was sitting in the bathtub. The clips come after she announced that she was getting divorced from her husband of five years, Morgan Evans.
Ballerini was supposedly naked while she filmed herself. She only wore a heart-shaped gold charm necklace. Furthermore, she had smudged makeup which hinted that she had most likely shed tears.
She was lip-synching to a Complex ballad by Katie Gregson-MacLeod which recently blew up on TikTok.
Some of the lyrics went as ‘I’m wearing his boxers / I’m being a good wife / We won’t be together / But maybe the next life.’
The heartbreak-themed anthem continues, ‘I need him like watеr / He lives on a landslide / I cry in his bathroom / Hе turns off the big light. I’m being a cool girl / I’m keeping it so tight / I carry him home while / My friends have a good night.’
Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans’s relationship
Kelsea Ballerini started dating Australian country music singer and songwriter, Morgan Evans in March 2016. The pair announced their engagement on Christmas day of the same year.
They went on to officially tie the knot a year later in December 2017 in a ceremony held in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Regardless, Ballerini revealed on 29th August 2022 that she has filed for a divorce on her Instagram Story.
The Hole in the Bottle hitmaker wrote, ‘Friends, I’ve always tried my best to share my life with you in a real and vulnerable way. While also protecting layers of my personal life as they unfold.’
She further claimed, ‘This is now public record so I wanted you to hear from me directly that I am going through a divorce.’
Additionally, Ballerini said, ‘This deeply difficult decision is the result of a journey of love, growth, and effort that ultimately has come to an end. It’s hard to find the words here … but I feel extremely grateful for the years of marriage to Morgan and hopeful for the next seasons.’
Morgan on his part mentioned that he was ‘very sad’ over parting ways with Ballerini.
