Keke Palmer Shares Shocking Security Footage Amid Filing Restraining Order Against Darius Jackson

Keke Palmer is seeking a restraining order against her ex, Darius Jackson, along with sole custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis. In court documents obtained by Us Weekly on Thursday, November 9, the 30-year-old actress accused the 29-year-old Jackson of physically assaulting her multiple times during their two-year relationship. Palmer claims to have security tape from an incident that occurred on November 5 in which Jackson “wandered into my residence without knowledge or permission” and “threatened” her prior to “charging for my neck, striking me, tossing me over the couch, & stealing my phone.” She goes on to say that there have been “many incidents of physical violence” between the two of them that include “damaging my personal property, which includes diaries and prescription eyeglasses, tossing all of my belongings into the street, hurling my car keys in order to keep me from driving away, striking [me] right in front of our son, uttering insults about me to our son, threats to kill himself with a gun if I left him because of the harassment, and also because he was abusing me in various ways.

Palmer stated that her relationship with Jackson “at long last ended for good” in early October, “mostly because of the emotional and physical abuse that was inflicted” by him on her. Palmer’s lawsuit follows months of conjecture regarding her and Jackson’s relationship status in the aftermath of his comments criticising Palmer’s dress during an Usher concert. Palmer donned a black bodysuit accompanied by a sheer black polka dot cover-up in the photographs from the Sin City event. Following online criticism, Jackson reaffirmed his position before deactivating his social media accounts. Palmer, for her part, did not respond directly to Jackson’s provocative remarks but instead proceeded to publish photographs of herself from the occasion. Palmer later teamed up with Usher, 45, for the “Boyfriend” music video, referencing Jackson’s comments about her clothing choices. Keke Palmer Alleges Darius Jackson Of Domestic Violence And Seeks A Restraining Order

Keke Palmer, the 30-year-old star of “Nope,” has filed for a restraining order against Darius Jackson, the father of her 8-month-old son, Leodis. She has included photos that appear to be surveillance footage of a man hitting a woman with a couch. Palmer alleges that Jackson assaulted her multiple times and states that a particular incident was captured on “home security footage [from] February 13, 2022, where Darius body slammed me down the stairs by my neck.” Jackson, 30, is accused of physically abusing Keke Palmer numerous times over the course of their two-year relationship, including on Sunday when he allegedly assaulted her at home. In a statement to PEOPLE, Palmer claims that Jackson “trespassed into my house with no my knowledge or approval, intimidated me, then viciously assaulted me — jumping for my neck, slapping me, tossing me across the couch, & stealing my cell phone when I informed him I was going to contact the police.” Palmer also charges Jackson of ruining her personal property, which includes diaries as well as prescription eyeglasses, knocking her belongings into the street, smacking her right in front of their son, deeming her profanities, threatening to shoot himself if she walked out on him, and numerous other forms of emotional and physical assault. Jackson, she claims, would “love bomb” her by making her feel special before turning cold and angry over small concerns.

“Our relationship was characterized by physical, emotional, and manipulative abuse,” according to the restraining order request. “Darius would ultimately ‘love bomb’ me while simultaneously making me feel like one of the greatest and most significant women on the planet, merely to become extremely cold and distant upon what he believed was an insult to him. We had one incident where he stormed off in a frenzy if I spoke with one person for too long or looked at someone in a ‘certain way.’ He would accuse me of cheating on him and that I didn’t love him, calling me a ‘slut’ and a ‘whore.’ Darius had a knack for gaslighting me into thinking I was doing something incorrectly when I wasn’t.” Palmer also claims that Jackson arrived at her house on Sunday to take Leodis to a football game, however, the infant was not present since he had gone to visit family with Palmer’s sister. Following an argument, Jackson allegedly “knocked me backwards across the couch, snatched my phone from my hands, and subsequently ran out of the house.” Palmer claims that when she chased him outside to retrieve her phone, “he almost struck me with his car.” The entire episode, she claims, was “captured by my home surveillance camera, which will be presented for the Court at the time of the hearing.” Palmer & Jackson’s problems were made public briefly in July when Jackson chastised Palmer for wearing a transparent dress over a black bodysuit to see Usher play at his Las Vegas residency.
