Kanye West’s controversial White Lives Matter fake merchandise is being sold on online selling platforms.
Here is everything you need to know.
Kanye West’s fake White Lives Matter shirts are on sale
Kanye West has become a hot topic on social media after he wore a White Lives Matter shirt. He sported the shirt earlier this week at the Yeezy Season 9 presentation at Paris Fashion Week.
However, West, who now goes by the name Ye, is yet to officially launch the controversial shirts. However, duplicate versions of the shirts are popping on selling sites.
Several listings on eBay have cited the long-sleeve shirts under the title such as ‘Lives Matter-Kanye West-Candace Owens’ or ‘Kanye Style All Lives Matter.’
Furthermore, while the listings certainly have not included the word ‘White’ in their description, it is carved in bold letters on the actual clothing.
A source close to the 45-year-old rapper revealed that West has the final say over the sale of the shirt. However, as of now, they are seemingly not much interested in selling the actual design.
Meanwhile, the fake shirts are being sold for about $20-$25 on eBay. They are clearly cheaper than the Donda hitmaker’s official merchandise which cost more than $100.
Additionally, West’s original shirt included a picture of Pope John Paul II on the front. But the fake ones only have the line ‘White Lives Matter’ inscribed on it.
Kanye West and Khloe Kardashian spar online
Kanye West took to social media to respond to the criticism he is facing over the White Lives Matter shirts, particularly from celebr ities such as Gigi Hadid.
He wrote, ‘So why did everyone feel so free to attack me about my t-shirt but Candace Owens was the only public figure to say that it was wrong for the Kardashians to keep me from seeing my daughter.’
However, Khloe Kardashian was not impressed with West publicly slamming Kim Kardashian’s parenting method.
She responded by commenting, ‘Ye, I love you. I don’t want to do this on social media but YOU keep bringing it here. You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I’m trying to be respectful but please STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect.’
The 38-year-old reality star further claimed that West knows ‘exactly’ where his four ‘children are at all times.’
