Kanye West is under investigation for allegedly throwing a woman’s phone after she didn’t stop filming him when he yanked the phone from her. In a viral video, the rapper-turned-fashion designer noticed that he was being followed as he left his daughter’s basketball game. Even though it is unclear if the woman was a paparazzi or simply a fan, he is alleged to have confronted her while she was shooting him from within her own car. Upon hearing the woman’s arguments that she could film him since he was a “celebrity,” Ye allegedly reached into her car and grabbed her phone. After leaving, he allegedly confronted another paparazzi. What he said to make him back off, however, is unclear.

She was allegedly filming West, 45, for an unknown time before he allegedly confronted her. West was not aware of what happened before he got out of his car. TMZ‘s police sources report that Ventura County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called to the scene around 4:30 p.m. A video of the incident was provided to the deputies. The outlet reports that woman was photographed leaving the sheriff’s department and conversing with officers. A battery investigation has since been opened against West, according to TMZ. West begged to be left alone more than once today, however. Another part of the clip shows him getting back into his car in front of a group of photographers filming the entire event.

A Battery Investigation Has Been Launched Into Kanye West After He Allegedly Threw A Woman Cellphone While She Was Filming Him
The rapper Kanye West is the subject of a battery investigation following a heated exchange with a photographer that led to Ye throwing and grabbing the photographer’s phone. Currently, it’s unclear whether the woman is a professional photographer or just a citizen taking videos of Ye. North West had a scheduled basketball game near the sports complex where the whole thing happened.

According to the source, “the family hasn’t taken this marriage seriously yet.”. They don’t quite understand. As of now, they are unsure if it is a publicity stunt. He has not yet filed for papers, so they are waiting to see if he will. They are worried because if it’s true, she would be in their lives.
