Justine Skye, Hailey Bieber’s bestie, was claimed to have ‘shaded’ singer Selena Gomez over the weekend, causing a stir.
Justine took to Snapchat to upload a snap that said, “Making TikToks everyday like you haven’t got a shitty makeup brand to run? Hmmm… Just whack as hell.”
Given that the tale was published just hours after Skye shared a photo of herself with her best friend Hailey Beiber, many assumed the singer was referring to Selena Gomez. Screenshots of the incriminating narrative began spreading widely on Twitter, enraging Gomez’s ardent fans.
For years, Justine Skye, musician, has been an inseparable part of Hailey Beiber’s close-knit social circle. Her hatred for Gomez could be explained by her close friendship with Hailey, who was previously in a troubled lengthy relationship with Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber.

Justine Skye claims that her Snapchat account was hacked
Many others believe that the Kill Em with Kindess singer has been more active on TikTok recently, leading them to believe that this poorly veiled jab was meant at her.
Justine Skye responded to the uproar and deflected blame, alleging that she had been “hacked.” She also stated that she had not used Snapchat in “years.”

Justine Skye discussed the incident extensively on her Twitter account. She stated as follows: “I’m on Twitter and I’m seeing a lot of Selena Gomez fans criticizing me. I mean, I’m not stupid! Okay, I’m not sure what occurred, so I’ll just ignore it.’ As a result, I’ve started blocking people.”
She also stated that Selena Gomez is not a problem for her. “I’m not even familiar with her. She’s someone I’ve never met before in my life. That has no bearing on my life.”
She went on to say that she would never go out of her way to gossip about another woman.

Selenators rushed to Gomez’s defense, even displaying receipts comparing Justine Skye’s net worth and monthly Spotify listens to Gomez’s. Others questioned Skye’s skepticism about her Snapchat being hacked and those comments not being made by her.
One user said, lord how do you even still have the audacity to speak on the Selena Gomez.

Skye has already been involved in trouble with the Rare Beauty founder, as one admirer pointed out. That previous event definitely didn’t help the former in her attempt to deflect criticism, as she found few takers for her argument that her Snapchat had been hacked.

Who is Justine Skye?
Justine Skye is a singer, songwriter who debuted in 2013 and released the DJ Mustard-produced single “Collide” the following year. She is recognised for her dance-oriented R&B and hip-hop-influenced style. Ultraviolet, her first full-length album, was released in 2018, and Space & Time, produced by Timbaland, was released in 2021.
Justine Skye, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1995, initially drew attention in her teens when she went to a music panel hosted by performance rights agency BMI with her mother, an industry lawyer.
