Justin Bieber is on a mission to provide the world with more sustainable drinking water.

Here is everything you need to know.

Justin Bieber launches clean water company in Qatar’s world cup

Justin Bieber’s clean water company, Generosity recently featured 150 water fountains this month at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The pop star further elaborated on the social impact goal of the brand while talking for an interview with CNN.

He added, ‘I want the world to have access to the best water. I also want countries to know how to best protect their people. The overuse of plastic is hurting us. We need to be more sustainable.’

How does Justin Bieber plan to bring sustainable clean water?

Earlier, Generosity offered water in bottled waters. However, Justin Bieber and co-founder Micah Cravalho have recently upgraded the bottled water brand into a water technology firm.

Hence, this development in Generosity might help in fulfilling the Sorry singer’s dream of curbing the usage of single-serve plastic worldwide.

Meanwhile, Cravalho stated, ‘We aspire to be the global leader in water technology, empowering consumers with refillable products as an alternative to single-use packaging.’

Moreover, the water fountains of Generosity can link to any water source in order to produce refillable alkaline water. As a result, they do not have to produce more plastic bottles to provide water.

Elsewhere, the company is aiming to set up these water fountain stations at some major events as well as in homes in 2023.

Justin Bieber visits Qatar for ‘Generosity’ clean water

Justin Bieber flew to Qatar alongside Micah Cravalho to promote their clean water company, Generosity.

Furthermore, the two also met with Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the sister of Qatar’s ruling emir.

Meanwhile, Al Mayassa spoke about Bieber and Cravalho’s visit to the country in a press release.

She said, ‘Having participated in beach clean-up efforts in Qatar for many years, I have witnessed first-hand the effect of pollution on our natural environment.’

Furthermore, she continued to add, ‘We are all encouraged to play our part during the World Cup and beyond.’

Besides that, Bieber has been at the helm of several social impact initiatives in Hollywood. If you didn’t know, he was involved in organizations such as Pencils of Promise. It provides aid to create schools in third-world countries.

The Grammy Award-winning artist further raised more than $3 million for the First Responders Children’s Foundation with his 2020 collaboration with Ariana Grande, ‘Stuck with U.’
