Julius Francis is down for a rematch with Mike Tyson after 22 years

Julius Francis recently sat down with TMZ after he went viral for punching a man who was trying to start a fight at an event in London.

During the interview, Francis revealed that he would be willing to step into the ring only if the opponent and price are right.

He said, ‘If there is a promoter that’s willing to promote a sanctioned fight.’

Francis continued, ‘I never have liked talking about money, but [if] they could come up with a decent offer, then who knows?’

Furthermore, the retired boxer mentioned, ‘I have a daughter that tells me “you’re not going to fight again”. And I think to myself “who would I fight?”‘

Francis added that people often tell him that he should fight Jake Paul or Logan Paul because of a massive potential payroll. However, according to Francis, they are not in his ‘category.’

Regardless, there is only one boxer who could get Francis to lace up his gloves again. That man is none other than Mike Tyson whom he lost to in a 2000 bout.

The 57-year-old former boxer confirmed, ‘I’m going to put it out there. I’m going to say, yes. Yes, we can have a rematch. I don’t know if anybody will watch it, but I’m going to say, yes.’

Iron Mike knocked out Francis just 58 seconds into the second round of the contest.
