Additionally, the reason behind Chrisley’s sudden change is unclear as of now.
A spokesperson mentioned, ‘While we do not share the reasons why a specific inmate was designated or transferred to a particular correctional institution, we can share general information about the [Bureau of Prison’s] designation process.’
However, as per legal documents obtained by TMZ, Chrisley was initially assigned to serve time at FCI Marianna in Florida. This location was supposedly closer to the place where Todd’s been locked up i.e. Pensacola.
Chrisley on the other hand was reassigned to Lexington after eight days.
Subsequently, the facility is also equipped for medical care up to Level 4. It also consists of inmates who are severely ill.

Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty in August 2019 under the charges of fraud and tax evasion charges.

Nevertheless, Todd and Julie Chrisley were given jail sentences of nineteen years in total. While Todd Chrisley is supposed to stay behind the bars for twelve years, Julie Chrisley was given a seven-year sentence.
In addition, the duo will also be required to complete a sixteen-month probation time after finishing their respective prison sentences.
If you didn’t know, Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. She went on to undergo treatment the following year.
Julie revealed that her doctor claimed that she could stop taking cancer-treatment medicines ten years following her double mastectomy during an interview with People in March 2022.
