The recent turn of events, in which JT tossed a phone at Lil Uzi Vert during the awards night, has enraged fans. JT has received a barrage of criticism for her actions. JT, the City Girls rapper, erupted in a rage, referring to Lil Uzi as a “groupie” and hurling her phone at him before storming out of the ceremony.

At The BET Awards, JT Threw Her Phone At Liz Uzi Vert Following A Rumored Fight Over Ice Spice: ‘It’s Inacceptable’
Lil Uzi Vert and his girlfriend JT, a member of the hip-hop duo City Girls, got into a heated conflict during the 2023 BET Awards at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday night. According to witnesses, the incident began because he was flirting with fellow rapper Ice Spice. JT, 30, was caught on camera striking Lil Uzi Vert with her phone and calling him a “groupie.” After the first attack, she took up the phone and struck the rapper again. Ice Spice, 23, and Lil Uzi Vert, 27, both performed before the incident, thus he was most likely admiring her stage presence. The pair was seated next to one another during the fight. During the argument, Lil Uzi Vert claims that he didn’t do anything, while JT is already leaving the venue. Lil Uzi Vert followed her as the two of them exited the venue together. The fight could potentially be related to him singing his new song, which mentions Ice Spice. While there is no physical proof of Lil Uzi Vert flirting with Ice Spice, he did mention her name onstage when presenting a new song. I have a lovely wife… The wig fell off twice. Prior to the altercation, the couple appeared to be in good spirits, with Lil Uzi Vert clearly trying to cheer up a pouting JT, but things quickly devolved.
