Actor Jonathan Majors is facing serious allegations of assault and battery after his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, filed a lawsuit in New York’s Southern District. The lawsuit, which also includes claims of defamation, sheds light on a tumultuous relationship marked by alleged abuse.

Grace Jabbari detailed disturbing incidents of violence, citing a particularly brutal fight on September 20, 2022. According to documents obtained by Rolling Stone, Jonathan Majors, 34, allegedly threw Jabbari, 31, onto the hood of a car before forcefully placing her in a headlock and covering her mouth to stifle her cries for help. He then purportedly dragged her inside their home, where he repeatedly slammed her head against the marble floor while strangling her.

The lawsuit further alleges that Majors threatened Jabbari’s life, leaving her with severe injuries including a head injury and bruising. Despite her condition, Grace Jabbari claims that Majors forbade her from seeking medical help, coercing her into silence with threats and fear.

Another incident cited in the lawsuit occurred in June 2022, when Majors allegedly became enraged and pinned Jabbari against a wall, causing yet another head injury.

Representatives for Jonathan Majors have not responded to requests for comment on the allegations. This latest legal action comes after Majors was found guilty in December 2023 of assault and harassment in a separate case involving Jabbari. In March 2023, Majors was arrested in New York City for choking Jabbari during a domestic dispute, resulting in minor head and neck injuries that required hospital treatment.

During the trial, Grace Jabbari testified about Majors’ violent behavior, although the focus was primarily on his recent arrest. Jonathan Majors has since broken his silence on the guilty verdict, expressing shock and fear at the outcome.

Despite the legal turmoil, Jonathan Majors appears to have found solace in his relationship with actress Meagan Good, whom he reportedly began dating in May 2023. The actor’s sentencing, initially scheduled for February, has been postponed to April as his legal team seeks to appeal the verdict.

As the case unfolds, the allegations against Jonathan Majors serve as a sobering reminder of the prevalence of domestic violence and the importance of holding individuals accountable for their actions.
