JoJo Siwa has no regrets after referring to Candace Cameron Bure as the “rudest” celebrity she has ever met. Siwa revealed on Thursday’s episode of the “Viall Files” podcast that she felt sorry at first for labelling Bure so harshly. Things changed, however, once the 47-year-old spoke out about the need of retaining “traditional marriage at the core” of her television network. I would prefer she was able to be a little more open, a little more accepting,” Siwa told “Bachelor” alum Nick Viall. Originally I regretted calling her out in that manner, but I read that article about her not wanting to be associated with LGBTQIA+. That’s my community.”

And I need to speak up for my people.” Siwa, who is pansexual, noted that her problem wasn’t that Bure wanted to produce films about heterosexual relationships, but that she expressly wanted to “make films that had no representation of LGBTQIA+.” “It’s fine if you’re doing it because it’s just your movie’s plot and it is what it is, like… not everything has to be gay essentially,” Siwa remarked. The feud between the two celebrities began in July 2022, when the “Dancing With The Stars” alum referred to the “Full House” star as the “rudest celebrity” during a TikTok challenge. Siwa revealed at the time that she had a “rough experience” meeting Bure when she was 11 years old. Candace Cameron Bure is the dirtiest celebrity, according to JoJo Siwa.

JoJo Siwa Names Full House Actress Candace Cameron Bure The Rudest Celebrity

JoJo Siwa was set to end her spat with Candace Cameron Bure when the Full House actress made some inflammatory remarks regarding “traditional marriage.” “I’ve never talked about this before,” Siwa, 20, stated on Nick Viall’s “Viall Files” podcast on Thursday, July 27. She did a press release for her [Great American Family] films, and that’s fine, and you should do a movie about traditional marriage between a man and a woman, not that ‘traditional’ is the right term, but that’s what it is.” Siwa continued: “It wasn’t about that; it was about making a movie for it to denigrate [the] LGBTQIA [community] and the fact that she was going to make movies specifically with no representation of LGBTQIA.” It’s fine if you’re doing it because it’s just your movie’s plot and it is what it is, like, not all of it has to be homosexual. It wasn’t until you [theoretically] said, ‘Too much is about LGBTQIA and you’re a stinker, and I want to make a movie about conventional marriage and you’re not traditional,’ that bothered me a little.” Cameron Bure, 47, made waves in November 2022 when she informed the Wall Street Journal that she had switched from Hallmark to Great American Family to make faith-based storylines with “traditional marriage” at the foreground.

Cameron Bure ultimately commented on Instagram that she didn’t aim to “intentionally” offend anybody with her statements after receiving extensive criticism. “I am an ardent Christian.” “This means I think every human being possesses the image of God,” she said on social media in November. “I am therefore obligated to love every individual, which I do.” Anyone who knows me knows that I love passionately without discrimination. My heart longs to establish bridges and bring others closer to God, to love others well, and to simply reflect God’s enormous love for all of us.” Cameron Bure’s remarks surprised Siwa, who openly came out as gay in January 2021. “After reading [the article with her quotes], it provided me a little sense of, ‘OK, you and she will never agree, you and she will never be friends [or] get along.” ‘I’ll never be able to change her,’ the Dance Moms star told Viall, 42. “She’s not going to be able to alter me; we can just live our lives… However, I wish she could be a little more open and accommodating. When Siwa called Cameron Bure the rudest star she’d ever met in the weeks leading up to the actress’s viral remarks about her marriage, she made waves. As an 11-year-old, Siwa claims Cameron Bure refused to take her picture at the Fuller House red carpet premiere.
