An interview with The Morning Hustle host took place at the event, during which he briefly questioned her about her comments on a podcast calling him corny. In his podcast, The Joe Budden Podcast, the New Jersey native took aim at the Black Panther antagonist for publicly bashing Lore’l. The actor’s actions were “corny,” he said, adding: If I bring back the White girl rumours, it’s gon’ sound even crazier. Is that the way you talk to our sisters in that way on the red carpet when you don’t address White women in the same manner?
After learning of the 42-year-old’s remarks on social media, internet users expressed their distaste and backed Michael B Jordan. On Twitter, Joe Budden quickly became a trending topic. Others criticized Budden’s statements while some thought the Creed III actor did nothing wrong. They cited previous instances of abuse and disrespect towards women by the former rapper. Twitterati branded him a straight-up hater. According to one user, Joe Budden is showing tone deafness by repeatedly addressing and ignoring the black woman in the room while commenting emphatically on how black men should treat black women.

There were some comments that the Creed III star did nothing wrong, and his actions were fair, while others were critical of Budden’s remarks. The former rapper was accused of abusing and disrespecting women in the past.

According to one user, the podcast host’s hypocrisy can be summarized as follows: Wasn’t Joe Budden just talking crazy about Megan Thee Stallion during her trial when he said this is wild? A 2021 episode of the Undressing Room podcast, in which Michael B. Jordan alleged the host deemed him “corny,” was referenced by the former during their interaction. Lore’l, on the other hand, explained that she had been misquoted and it was Dominique da Diva who had made the comment about the actor. It has yet to be seen whether Michael B Jordan will respond to Joe Budden’s views.
