Joe Biden faces backlash for laughing while discussing brothers who died of fentanyl overdose

US President Joe Biden is in hot waters with netizens for laughing while talking about the deaths of two men due to fentanyl overdose in 2020.

Joe Biden was attending the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference in Baltimore, Maryland on 1st March when the incident took place.
Moreover, he was there to address the allegations that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA has said against the current administration.
If you didn’t know, Greene accused Biden’s government of not taking serious action to prevent the inflow of illegal drugs into the US territory on 28th February.

In addition, she also talked about Rebecca Kiessling in her tweet. Kiessling lost her two sons, 20-year-old Caleb and 18-year-old Kyler died of an accidental fentanyl overdose in July 2020.
The two men unknowingly consumed the medicine believing them to be Percocet but it turned out to be laced with the powerful narcotic.
Additionally, Kiessling testified in the House about the fentanyl epidemic.
Biden on the other hand did not hold back and fired back at Greene on Wednesday night.
He remarked, ‘Isn’t she amazing? (Laughter.) Oof. (Laughter.)’
Biden continued, ‘I was the reason… she was… she was very specific. I shouldn’t digress, probably. She… (laughter) I’ve read she was very specific recently, saying that a mom… a poor mother who lost two kids to fentanyl, that… that I killed her sons. Well, the interesting thing is that the fentanyl they took came during the last administration. (Laughs.)’
Meanwhile, Biden addressed multiple issues during the Wednesday conference which included the bipartisan legislation he passed in the first two years of his presidency.
