Jimmy Fallon teamed up with Ariana Grande and Megan Thee for the song. The song is “Masked Christmas”. It is a music video about the pandemic sufferings of last year.
The tune was unveiled on Monday night during the Night-talk show episode by Fallon. He told about his desire to create a holiday song for these unique times. Fallon further added every night he goes to Electric Ladyland Studio in Manhattan and tries to write something. Being at the studio, Fallon met two music producers. They together decided and write a holiday song. He thinks it’s something.
Fallon wanted to have Ariana Grande in the song. So, they reached out to her. Finally, he got a text from Grande. She liked the song and said she’s in. Even the producer said about the song that it is hit after the song finished. Megan Thee Stallion was suggested by Ariana for the rap portion. Thee was in and asked for when to shoot the music video.

With a brief introduction, Megan Thee begins the song. The song started with ‘You know what time it is. Time to get those boosters’ Basically, she meant those boosters as Covid -19 booster shots.
The first verse was sung by Ariana and Fallon together. It was all about the zoom calls and wifi. The next verse was about all the holidays spent alone because of the pandemic. The hope this year does not go the same. It was sung by Grande. The next verse was sung by Megan Thee which was started as a rap. She wears a unique nurse outfit with syringes attached to her fingers. The lyrics were about putting a purrel on everything while kissing every familiar one. It was about a Christmas which in pandemic was spent with closed mouth and nose and got stuck in the house.
