In November 2021, Jessie J spoke out about how heartbreaking it was to miscarry after deciding to have a baby on her own. According to People, the British singer admitted in a since-deleted Instagram post that she’d excitedly gone in for her third scan only to learn there was no longer a heartbeat. “I was laughing with a friend yesterday morning, saying,’seriously, how am I going to get through my gig in LA tomorrow night without telling the entire audience I am pregnant?'” she explained. “By yesterday afternoon, I was dreading the prospect of making it through the gig without collapsing.”

What did Jessie J say about her Miscarriage?

The “Price Tag” hitmaker admitted she was a mess of emotions and that she would probably reconsider sharing the sad news. The British star, on the other hand, was determined to perform, believing that it would help her process everything she was going through. “My soul requires it,” Jessie J said, adding, “getting pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I will never forget and I know I will have again.”

In a subsequent Instagram post, the singer admitted she shouldn’t have been so open after all, noting that “I reacted in work mode” and that it was a “unhealthy” way of dealing with her pain. Many times in the past, the British singer has been remarkably candid about her problems, with Jessie J even crying about her health at one point. She’s now opening up about her experience once more.

Jessie J recently blocked a fan who commented on her weight months after her miscarriage, claiming she was still healing from it. During an interview on the podcast “The Diary of a CEO,” the British singer revealed more details about what she’d been through in an effort to clarify what she’d been through. According to Metro, Jessie J revealed that she awoke with the feeling that something was wrong. The “Bang Bang” hitmaker went straight to the doctor, where he discovered that, while there was a heartbeat, it was very low and had an extra ring to it, indicating “some type of disability or deformity.”
