A leaked clip of Jesse Williams performing naked at the Broadway theater is being circulated all over the internet.

Actors’ Equity Association, the national labor union that represents more than 50,000 theatre actors and stage managers, has spoken about the actor’s nude video leaked online. They released a statement on Tuesday condemning the illegal filming of actors in nude scenes.
Kate Shindle, president of Actors’ Equity Association said in the statement, ‘We condemn in the strongest possible terms the creation and distribution of photographs and videos of our members during a nude scene.’
She added that as actors they perform several vulnerable characters onstage to tell their challenging stories. Regardless it does not mean they have authorized anyone to share those vulnerable moments widely by sneaking a device into the theater and recording it.
Shindle continued by saying, ‘Whoever did this knew not only that they were filming actors without their consent, but also that they were explicitly violating the theater’s prohibition on recording and distribution.’
The union further mentioned Williams leaked clip as an act of ‘sexual harassment and an appalling breach of consent.’
According to Out Magazine, the leaked clip that is presently blasting on social media platforms is from a locker shower scene with full-frontal nudity. In the sequence, Williams’ character Darren Lemming was accompanied by Shane Mungitt (Michael Oberholtzer) as the duo roughhoused.
‘Take Me Out’ is a revival of the 2003 Tony Award-winning stage play composed by Richard Greenberg. The play is slated to run at the Broadway theater till 11th June.
The show follows the story of a biracial baseball player named Lemming. He is seen contending to whether to come out as gay or not.
On Monday, the stage play was nominated for four Tony Award nominations including Best Revival of a Play. Williams, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Michael Oberholtzer were nominated for the Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play.
